A Typical Day

For all of our students, there is no such thing as a typical day. This is because we pride ourselves in offering a bespoke plan that suits the global learning of each individual student. We make sure that we foster critical thinking through all lessons, and recognise each student for the independent personalities that they are.

For those who sign up for a package of subjects, we might have a day that begins with a gathering together in a small tutor group so that they can have a daily catchup with their tutor, share news, receive notices, and celebrate individual and collective achievements. Additionally, our tutor groups are an opportunity for students to  practice teaching one another some of their recent learning gains.

From there, students will embark on a morning with three hour long connected time sessions: English, Maths, and Science. Depending on age and ability, these sessions will either be in 1:1 or in small groups.. From these connected time sessions, they will be introduced to the continuation work through their guided time learning.

After lunch, Students embark on guided time learning. Here they can ask tutors questions about assignments or review feedback recently received. On certain days of the week and key dates in term, there are opportunities to gather as a whole school for a talk from a tutor or external speaker.
