Vision of a learner
There is no such thing as an ideal student – we just believe in all students who long to learn and to grow. We are passionate educators who help design a curriculum for the individual to meet their specific needs. So our school will look very carefully at the student upon entry to help determine the right pathway and programme to suit their needs and aspirations. Whether we teach them as part of a small group (4-6 students) or 1:1 lessons, we will make sure that they grow in key life skills of independent learning. The school works on a blend of learning; teacher facilitated connected time together, and guided time where the student has a series of assignments to complete while still maintaining key access to tutors for guidance and feedback. We want all of our students to be future-proof – ready for the world ahead of them. So not only do we long for them to be dedicated and hard-working students, we make sure they grow in core life skills that will set them up for success through high school, university, the world of work and managing life to come. As students who grow skills in independent learning, we will support communication and collaboration skills, and the development of leadership and critical thinking through their interaction with others and building global networks. But above all, we will send them out as citizens of the world – able to think globally and immerse themselves in complimentary cultures and expectations.
